c-dub 8 March 2012 12:39 AM

Did they discontinue the Milgauss?

Puffy 8 March 2012 12:41 AM

This one gets my vote. The blue dial looks really good...

nope. only new models are shown

p_mcgee 8 March 2012 12:43 AM

I like the smooth bezel DJII
ND Sub - nice but I guess I don't understand the cult following of this one relative to the SubC
the rest, not for me...not much of a fluted or blinged out bezel guy

Gharddog03 8 March 2012 12:45 AM

Thanks

Tony-GB 8 March 2012 12:48 AM

The verdict:

- Nice update to the Sub. That will be a huge seller.

- The 41mm Datejust looks rather good, I still think the hour sticks are a bit too big relative to the width of the hands.

- The Sky-Dweller... What is that? Breitling meets Rolex? Way too busy dial, mainly because the choice of Roman or Arabic numerals, perhaps sticks would have worked better?

- Blue dial Yacht Master looks decent, not my favorite model.

- The rest I couldn't care less about.

rolepam312 8 March 2012 12:52 AM

This is the beginning of the end of Rolex ... That's the best they can do? I guess they decided to be a jewelry company... Thank god I got mine when I did...

Bruno C 8 March 2012 12:56 AM

Thanks for sharing the info.

What a refreshing thread.
Love to read and see all the new ones.
Thanks for sharing.

Scotes 8 March 2012 01:01 AM

Wow. Thanks for the photos. It looks like a bunch of watches just got beat with the ugly stick. There's some nice in there but I'm just not a fan of the extreme bling with all the jewels. And the Sky-Dweller? Meh. Maybe it'll play better in person but it just looks too busy; even worse so than Omega's new AT GMT.

Puffy 8 March 2012 01:03 AM

This would look hot

had a chance to digest a bit.....

* S-D....
- awesome movement
- lackluster design (romans, especially, and cyclops over ring, especially especially)
- HORRIBLE and ill-fitting name - name this a "DateJust Calendar" or something, and then come out next year with a ceramic-bezeled model with a couple of other sport touches and call THAT one a "sky-dweller"

* new ND......what we expected, but, looks good.

* DJII smooth.....liking the new silver dial and the black dial looks clean, sporty, classy.

* new YM.....nice update.

* blue YM......i dunno...something about the wide platinum bezel and dark blue dial throws me, but, this could be good in person. like the red touches. the blue dial seems to shimmer like the hulk's dial, and, well, if that's the case, i will like it.

* bling......okay, i get it, there's a market for blingtastic rolexes....i just don't get putting colorful stones at the 6 and 9 markers of a date dial....really looks out of balance.

* daytona......not at all my taste, but, the rainbox of colors is pretty interesting, in a way.

don't know if it would still be a "YM", but, the blue center balances better with the black bezel over the platinum bezel (at least per the pix i've seen).

yessir69 8 March 2012 01:12 AM

Thank you for posting in one place. With that said, I think I'm going to be sick.

vantzemi 8 March 2012 01:13 AM

I see a yellow SkyDweller in my future.
