First post to the forums!

Just picked one up on the bridge in Firenze, Italy. The "EXPLORER" is at the 12 o'clock. Is that weird?

Tried one on today, nice and light and looked great.

My local AD emailed me yesterday. He has one in stock. I am looking forward to checking it out.

Just taken delivery of my new explorer and love it....think the size is great as 36mm just felt too small for me. Like you spent ages deciding but very happy. Getting slightly fed up with a lot of people moaning about the hands issue, Rolex know what they are doing, and the watch is what it is. it is VERY elegant, the lines and finish of the watch are gorgeous and sits beautifully on the wrist :)

Actually, upon further inspection, I think I picked up the older model - 36mm. I love it.

Collected my pre ordered 214270 today and wow what a piece I just love it......The smaller hands looks fine to me but am aware its a personal choice.

Paid the full RRP for it with no movement from the AD in the UK but am still happy.

Without a movement would seem to take away some of the functionality of the watch.:chuckle:

Enjoy, I too paid full retail; sometimes it's rough being first on the block.

I like it a lot!!!

I just bought one as well.

I notice that the watch slow 2s for every 24hr.
This happen even I leave it lying face up.
Does anyone know how to rectify this?

Also, I read somewhere that the position of the watch lying had no effect on new rolex model.
