WARNING: Clicking links / logging in / Passwords SCAM..

It has come to the attention of Moderators and Administrators of this site that there is a clone site which looks just like this site to procure your username and password when you attempt to log in.

It is CRITICAL that you do not click on any links in any personal messages or emails that you receive from any other PURPORTED member of this website.

A link in an email/personal message may look like a link to "RolexForums (photo of watch)" but in fact it will be to a link to a fake "RolexForums" webpage that will require you to log in with your username and password.

EVERYTIME you log in you must ensure that the URL window is and only is to:

Never log into a http website and never log into anything that is in anyway different from rolexforums.com

It is your responsibility as a user to exercise due care with your account details to ensure that they are not disclosed to a third party who may use them to commit a fraud upon an innocent victim.

A link in an email or personal message or even a thread may look like this:

https://www.rolexforums.com

OK IT MAY LOOK LIKE YOU ARE GOING TO ROLEXFORUMS.COM however nothing could be further from the truth.

Just "click" on the link above and see where you go (don't worry it is a safe link) but if you click on it you will see precisely the point I am trying to make.

Instead of clicking and going to Google, you could be clicking to download a virus, or going to a third party website which looks like RolexForums.com but may in fact be a fake site seeking to illicit your username and password.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL, look at the URL line every time you log in and make sure it is and only is https://www.rolexforums.com

************************************************** ***********************

Please be aware that there are people who are trying to crack into your account.

Several people have recently had their account hacked because they have not:
(a) guarded their passwords (both TRF and email);
(b) made their password complex or difficult to crack.

DO NOT have your password anything like your username or real name or anything associated with who you are.

Because they log in to your account and try to sell a dodgy watch that we all assume is you so we trust that it's legit.

Thanks for the warning Steve & Mods.
