Incoming: My first Seiko Tuna!
So after a brief hiatus with Seiko watches I decided to give them another go. This time I wanted to take the plunge and pickup a Tuna dive watch.
I typically would never consider buying a watch this expensive that has a quartz movement but anyone who knows Tunas can tell you that the 7C46 is a fantastic movement that is very durable, fully rebuildable, and from what I understand has metal gears with a high torque motor. Anyhow, here are some pics of my first Tuna, the SBBN031: http://i.imgur.com/amuhLY3h.jpg http://i.imgur.com/Kt4yjlAh.jpg http://i.imgur.com/skxNXChh.jpg |
Congrats!

Such a cool watch

I refer to the SBBN031 as Anakin Vader because the watch is a Transitional Tuna between the MM 015 and 035https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...b5dd3fddbf.jpgThe best part? It's actually a In Your Face Bad-Ass weapon with brutal aesthetics and stupidly accurate !
I once had a debate with a Seiko fanboy from another forum on the topic of which was better, the 015 vs 031.He claimed the 015 had the more classic styling while I defended the 031 with my own contentious points.I'm neither a Seiko expert nor claim to be one but I've worn more Seiko watches than half the bunch of Wussies over there.... Achtung Baby ! This time you've been seriously bitten by the Seiko Bug |
Looks great, congrats

Love it. I'm a big fan of Seiko and have picked up a number of JDM Tuna's over the years. Don't wear them that much anymore but your post will likely make me grab one from the safe today!
Enjoy it. |
