Hi All,

I regret to inform you that there is a scam going around right now where a potential buyer will write you and include a link to their "collection" if you are open to trades. It then prompts you to log in to TRF, which presumably, the scammer collects your username and password. If you have recently fallen for this, please verify your account activity... it might also be wise to change your password.

Thank you! Unfortunately the person in question did not message me on here… So I never got a username. That is why I included the email screenshot. I will make sure to read the rules carefully.

I banned yoyogift8 as that was the email in the scam, who is stevers63?

Thanks Tyler, didn’t mean to get snippy with you, it’s just that time is of the essence on these things but if you didn’t have a username then obviously you couldn’t post it.

It's very easy to create an email account with gmail.

He posted in the classifieds a couple days ago selling a mint Sub date for $8500. Too good to be true, I know. Corresponded with him and got the wiring info from him. The wire info was supposedly his wife's which seemed real fishy. Needless to say my gut feeling was telling me it was a scam.
