Hey guys,

I’m trying to learn why some dials have markings as if it were polished/grinded?

Any technical enthusiast here willing to share some knowledge?

The rivets that hold the indices in place are ground flat for a proper fit to the top of the movement.

Only some dials have these markings. I presume this just varies from dial to dial?
