SkyDweller 9002 - Issues expected?

Hi guys,
I know there is a super thread on the 32xx issues.

However, I am just trying to get my head around if we would expect the same from the 9002 (maybe also the 4131) as well, or is the 900x platform architecturally very different to the 32xx movements.

I have been offered to switch my 9001 SkyD for a 9002 which I am quite keen on after waiting 10 years to get a SkyD and then 2 months after getting it, they update the movement. Yes yes... its just small changes, but... my heart wants it okay?

Interested to hear your thoughts.

The 9002 is an evolution of the 9001, so I wouldn’t expect as many teething issues as with an entirely new calibre

Have a first-release SS SkyD Blue and was my main beater for a year plus. Still wear it often. Never had any issue and have not seen anything as we see with the new GMT movement.

All good either way imho.

Yeah my 9001 is perfect. Just hoping the 9002 keeps up the good work

My 9001 is perfect as well.
I don’t get why you would change perfection for the unknown

If you are getting a different dial or configuration or metal it would be a consideration. If everything is the same, I would not changeup.

+1. Outside of these there is no gain in the trade, only risk.
