Tudor black bay chrono question
Probably nothing to worry about but just thought I’d ask the group. So when I go to set the time on my watch I noticed there is a little play in the crown when I turn it before the minute hand starts to move. For example if I try to move the minute hand forward it takes maybe an 1/8 of a turn before the minute hand engages and starts to move. Same thing going counterclockwise. I can basically move it back and forth clockwise and counterclockwise an 1/8 of a turn before it moves the minute hand. Once the minute hand engages it moves nicely. I have another Tudor bb58 where this happens too but it seems a bit less evident. I guess each watch has it’s own quirks. Just didn’t know if this play in watches is normal or should the minute hand be rock solid “engaged” to the crown.
