The naysayers switched to accusing Al (one of the best watchmakers in the business) of being a nobody who's trying to piggyback on the glory of Rolex.

If anything he's saying that the problems with this movement are caused by Rolex moving away from its own traditional approach to movement design…

I have learned so much from him over the years about everything to do with watches. He writes clearly and takes great macro photos so we can see how these things are put together.
