Hi to the watchmakers

My new watch with a 4131 has a strange winding sensation. There is much more of a gear sound than what a normal Rolex 32xx 31xx or 4130 have where I normally only hear the clicks. This one sounds like I’m winding a seiko where you are hearing the cogs making a soft buzzing noise and feeling when winding. There is no crunching but there is definitely teeth meshing sound and feeling.

1 is this normal. Did they change the winding mechanism slight?
2 even if it’s not normal is it something I can ignore if it is winding properly?
