Removal doesn't take a special tool; I use a single-edge razor blade to start it and then just pry it off with a knife blade.

The crystal usually comes off as well; just put it back on and then the bezel is pressed in place.

This is where the special tool is useful, but I've done it with a wooden dowel and some patience.


I would do it at no charge for a friend as well.
