Availability increasing (at least in London)

I was just in the Bond St boutique and they had many all gold models available for immediate sale including the GMT in both yellow and rose. The salesman could not have been nicer and I was VERY tempted but I have my heart set on the DD with lacquer green as my next watch. I don’t know how the VAT rebate works in the UK but I thought to avoid the wrath of my wife it was better to err on the side of discretion. They had Datejusts of varying size and yacht masters and skydwellers as well. They said that precious metal is opening up but obviously steel sports as well as platinum models were hard to come by. Overall it was a quick but happy experience and they were far more solicitous at Rolex than PP or even Loro Piana.

I don’t think you get VAT refund anymore in the UK (unfortunately)

Always good to know stocks are starting to be available for walk-in, anywhere in the world. I am also starting to see PM and TT models, especially DJs and Skydwellers being available for walk-in sometimes where i am.

PM used to be discounted at most ADs. Nice of them to offer them a full price. LOL

It's the same story in most places now, but some AD's are desperately trying to cling to the high demand low supply story.

Rates are way up, inflation is up, the job market is faltering.

Less people are inclined to indulge is serendipitous spending like on a Rolex.
