Grand Seiko 2024 Price increase!
Rather quietly, Grand Seiko has increased their MSRP.
Here in Canada, a general 13% increase hit the AD websites before the Official GS site updated the prices. Here are some models in the US: https://www.grand-seiko.com/-/media/...nt--Nov--1.pdf .nic |

lol GS continue to kill themselves by increasing prices. gap between secondary and retail prices will widen and that itself will kill GS's brand long term when other brands in this range like Tudor has more appeal and less depreciation

Maybe they will give bigger discount in the future. I got my SLGW005 with 10% discount and nearly $2k cash card which I used for buying an Oris watch.

The most interesting Grand Seikos, whether by looks and/or movements, will continue to hold value. Not like a Rolex, of course, but with relatively minimal depreciation. It’s key if you’re buying new to get a discount to soften the blow if you end up selling it. |
