Incoming Tudor BB58 GMT Coke

I have been wanting to add a GMT to my diverse collection for quite a while and I think Tudor has done a wonderful job with BB 58’s and when they released the 58 coke this year with the rubber strap on a deployment clasp I had to have it. Gave the SA a call and this came in yesterday ….
also got a little Tudor swag a hat and umbrella.

I got one too (well technically I got two, the first had to go back due to misalignment--a common problem on BB58 models).

Check the alignment of your GMT bezel; mine was off by 15 minutes. I can't tell from the angle of your photo. My second one was spot on.

I've tried this same watch on no fewer than 3 times. Trying to decide on this vs an Explorer II

I’m glad! Just wanted to alert you to it (current gen Subs have shown this issue as well which makes me wonder if it’s caused by the machines Rolex/Tudor are using to fit them, but in either case it should be caught by QC) because if you spot it quickly it can just go back as a return rather than a months long wait from RSC!

The FXD GMT that just launched seems to be basically a next gen Explorer II, so long as you aren’t looking at the polar Explorer. The only thing is whether you’re alright with a strap only watch or not. Otherwise it ticks a lot of boxes.

Congrats. I picked up a bracelet version and love it. The dial is so clean and how it sparkles in the sun is just amazing.

I have the 16710 as well as the BLNR and CHNR, none have seen wrist time since I got this a few weeks ago.
