The point is that he actually said that explicitly in response to criticisms of his latest design. I don't think anyone expected PP to introduce a $10K entry level watch.

It's the fact that he's getting down in the sandbox like a little insecure, immature child. Something you wouldn't expect from a high end luxury brand and especially not the President of the brand.
