I had my doubts, but have to say: not a problem, not a single scratch!

Sorry, that's a HUGE nope. That looks like the Tesla CyberTruck on your wrist and it's just as ugly. Again, sorry.

My mom always said..."if you don't have anything nice to say...shut your piehole".

Congrats on your new AP and enjoy it in good health. I like it....not that it matters.

Folks are entitled to their opinions and I welcome them fully! I love that the design is polarizing - wouldn’t have it any other way I was also an early buyer of the Code. Feel lucky I can own what I love.

I absolutely love that RE2. It looks amazing and you wear it so well. I hope i could be lucky to get an allocation. Enjoy and pls post more wrist shots.

BTW, how do you find it wearing it on the wrist? Due to its usual shape, is it comfortable?

The haters are mostly people who have never had an AP and never will, so that doesn’t bother me.

I actually slept in it on Sat and Sunday night which I do often to test comfort. I have it slightly past my wrist bone and it is extremely comfortable. I can see for those that wear it closer to the back of the palm how it can be a problem or even look odd. It wears like a dream and makes me feel classy, sophisticated in a IYKYK kind of way. I owned the steel millenary before and the watch case is much bigger/wider and much less comfortable than the RM02. The sand gold is a marvelous metal that takes on many characters especially with so many angles on the case and the brushed and polished finishes - I am still beginning to appreciate all the differentials. The 12 piece dial with a brushed sunburst pattern with the angled sapphire crystal also plays with light really differently creating many refractions and character. I feel physically safe but also with an inner confidence and appreciation for the piece -and as you can see it should dress up nicely. To be honest it makes me feel like when I was wearing my Nautilus or RO pre-2018.

What I found interesting is the watch is assymetric when you cut it at 12 o’clock vertically. However if you cut it at 3/9 o clock horizontally, it is perfectly symmetrical. How’s that for a mind game?

It definitely isn’t a person’s first AP- you have to own a royal oak first imho. I would say this is for a collector that wants to go deeper into AP. I personally have the remaster01 and love it. Also have multiple ROs and this really hits the spot. You can never have too many ROs but what’s the hurry?

I am more than pleased with my purchase. I am also glad I am one of the collectors that actually wear my watches often and about so I will capture more wrist shots and angles over time. The footage online was generic and lackluster and really lowered my expectations - I flew in to LA from Switzerland to collect the piece (the irony!) and I was very concerned on the size due to all the online reviews and had fear that I would not like it. That fear dissipated instantly upon viewing and wearing in person.

Like you, I was immediately smitten upon reveal. Moreover, your showcasing of the watch dressed up and dressed “down” highlights the versatility and uniquely rugged, yet commandingly elegant(!), character of this piece. Some, including you, may have preferred a smaller version, but from all your pics it looks comfortable and great. Wear it in best of health and longevity.

It looks a little quirky in photos IMO. A lot of pieces do. But on your wrist it strikes a perfect balance between statement and composed. The design is settled, truly assured from an architectural standpoint. Enjoy it. Beautiful AP.
