I'm surprised no one mentioned Dr Earle who's been diving with her ladies datejust for decade and no, Rolex didnt buy it for her..lol. She's a ocean explorer and featured in tons of National Geo and ocean magazines. She typically dives around 50m deep with the DJ on. I recall she was mentioned in one of the Rolex hardcover magazines last year or so.
That being said, I'm in the middle of my PADI certification and been using my sub date. I wouldn't trust a 100M WR watch for actual diving as water pressure changes very quick in depths. I've also worn my Panerai earlier in the year in Hawaii during our "pool" diving practice session (10 feet..lol). My pam is 100m WR and it was fine. I prefer my Pam more though for vacations (snorkelling/swimming etc) cos of the super soft rubber strap.
