My choice would be the 16710 with the bullet proof cal 3185 get all 3 inerts then 3 different watches for little money.

Your preferences lead you to the 16710. While you will pay a small price premium over the 16700 and 16750, the 16710 is found in larger numbers and if you like your watches to look fairly new, can be serviced and have parts replaced without killing the value (assuming you get one with Super Luminova and not trititum).

I would only consider the 16700 or 16750 if you have an affinity for the vintage aspects of those watches (the original GMT function, lugs with holes, hollow end links). And it sounds like you don't.

I'm on the lookout for a GMT but I'm the opposite of you. I want something with tritium, hollow end links, and lugs with holes. So I'm primarily looking at the 16700's. But I'm taking my time. And also considering tritium 14060 Submariners.
