Thanks everyone, really appreciate the kind words.
so a few things after having it for a little bit (2-3 days or so). 1.) It does seem to wear slightly larger and sits nicely on the wrist. 2.) I really think the metal ring around the ceramic bezel gives it a cool look. I really do enjoy the ceramic bezel of the 11 series, but that metal ring just adds a really nice touch. 3.) the slimmer black sub dials also give it a great look. 4.) comfort wise I would say they are very close with the 11 being slightly more comfortable to me. Overall I don't think you can go wrong with either the 11 or the 12 series of the daytona. I have always been a Daytona fan (that was the first rolex I purchased from this AD back in 2013) and I think I will always be a fan. |

Probably not, it's funny my wife and I swap a lot of watches and she currently has the black stainless daytona (original steel bezel), the black ceramic daytona, and now she will most likely take that one as well

My dad and I swapped our 116 black and white for the new 126s. Keeping a 116500 white my mom had as the smaller case fits her well.

I love it. I've never tried one one, but considering getting on the wait list for one at my AD. How long did you have to wait?

The differences are so subtle but the end is a sleeker less chunky look. I think someone calipered the case and it is barely any bigger.
