After almost four years . . . Incoming . . . Silver-ish Speedmaster!

I received the call (i.e. email) on Thursday, September 12, for the 50th Anniversary Silver Snoopy Speedmaster. At the time, I was in a meeting with a client. He was like, “Is everything okay, Mark?” Because on my heavy travel schedule, I wasn’t able to receive it until this past Friday:

Now to be fair, I said almost four years. But my priority primarily was on the Speedmaster Calibre 321 'Ed White,' which I was fortunate to receive last year:

But I continued to express my interest in the Silver Snoopy over the years, which finally paid off!

As usual, Ozzy was just as excited as I was! But not the most helpful!

Fine packaging by the OB as usual:

There she is!

Unfortunately, the bracelet with the polished center links is on backorder. So, I'm on another waitlist!

Excited and fortunate to have this one join the collection!

Congratulations!

Both are very nice, and it's good to see that the cat also approves.

Congratulations. I have had some luck sourcing bracelets and clasps by calling AD's and Boutiques directly. Omega Boutiques will check for extras at other Boutiques through the computer system but will only show extras. Make a few calls and I bet you will have the bracelet.

What an incredible moment!
The anticipation for the Silver Snoopy must have made that call even sweeter, especially after almost four years of waiting. It’s great to hear that your persistence paid off, and the excitement you and Ozzy shared must have made the experience even better! The OB’s fine packaging is always a nice touch, too. Can't wait to see how it fits into your collection.
congrats again on adding such a legendary piece!

Fortunately, it didn't take that long. They contacted me at the beginning of the week and I had them set up delivery for Saturday:

I've brought both my Silver Snoopy and the bracelet with me on my trip to Cincinatti:

Before heading home to Boston, I'll be taking a detour to New York City on Friday to attend the FOiS event at the OB. I'll have them mount the bracelet then!

Congrats on the Silver Snoopy Speedmaster! That’s an incredible piece, and definitely worth the wait, even with the travel schedule. Enjoy every second with it.

Had to stop for my latte fix before visiting the OB:

Finally had the bracelet mounted:
