I bought a 3861 last year from an AD(paid full price) and if I could do it again, I wouldn't.

I should have gone to an Omega Boutique and paid the same price, but established a purchase history for a 321.

The current situation is so weird. Boutiques do not seem to have 321s to offer, yet the grey market seems to have plenty of new ones only a few $K over MSRP. If ADs can't get the 321, are the Omega Boutiques selling the 321s out the back door?

I have been allocated a 321 which I can pick up from the boutique. Haven’t seen one in the flesh where I can feel the bracelet. Is it really superior than the 3861?

Congratulations in advance. I’m sure when you go to see it and handle it in person, you’ll understand the hullabaloo

I can only tell you what I have been told. I picked one up a couple of months ago. I have purchase history and been wating for a few years. I got lucky with this one as I had just received the snoopy and I restated my love for the 321 so history, recency and a bit of luck. I was told that major Boutiques are luck to get one once a qtr and the list is big. I think they are harder to get than a snoopy as they just don't make that many and there are a lot of Omega boutiques. Long story short, they are very very hard to get. I think that makes the grey market small mark up look ok vs other hard to get models like the snoopy as there are far far fewer 321's. Oh and if I had to choose between the Snoopy and 321 the 321 wins everyday. It has a mojo that you can only appreciate in hand. It feels special.
