However, for me with the aviation connection it would be tough for me to take the Tudor over this Speedmaster. The biggest issue for the latter will likely be the price, wouldn't be shocked if it ends up costing more than what the other Heritage Speedmaster models cost, around 10K USD as someone stated. Not sure if I like this yet to be released model enough to part with almost $13k CAD for should the price be similar. |

I understand, just the design language between the two seems a smidgen too close. Maybe a different color scheme would have helped.

That sounds exciting! The Speedmaster always brings a lot of anticipation, especially with its rich history. I can’t wait to see what new models they’ll introduce. Fingers crossed there’s some truth to it! Keeping an eye out for those announcements will definitely be worth it!

Should be fun to see. The original FOIS was on Oct 3, 1962. This is the 62nd anniversary released on the same day. Nice tie in Omega.

Good year of releases for Omega if the new SMP (theorized at a smaller size) is indeed released soon.

I owned old gen and current gen smp and really liked the older gen. Both the SMP and PO are wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy past for a redesign, imo. And I'm trying real hard not to blow my gmt2 funds on the new white speedy !! I handled it in Las Vegas and liked it better than the daytona.
