How and where exactly was it stolen? Street robbery?

Really dreadful for you. My sympathies.

Appreciated.

Would prefer to hear from the relevant Met unit before disclosing too many details publicly.

(let me know if it would help prevent sale or assist recovery, we can probably find a way to chat offline if so)

Morning!

I was interested in how you were robbed if that’s what happened. It is helpful to all of us if we are alerted to the places of greatest risk, times of day, and the methodology used by the thieves. For example, there has been chat of ‘spotters’ in pubs, clubs and restaurants.

The Met police have failed to crack street robbery and made much of a handful arrests… Much more needs to be done by police on the streets and publicity about watch theft helps pressure them to act.
