5226G for Frequent Wear?
I am considering consolidating my watches into either a 2 or 3 watch collection that would include a 5226G. Any thoughts on how a 5226G would hold up to the somewhat frequent wear that this would require (2/3 days per week)? The other 1/2 watches would include something steel with significant water resistance for tougher wear.
I guess what I am trying to figure out is whether a 5226G is really a watch for special occasions or if it could actually be worn frequently without getting too beat up? Thanks! |

I think the 5226 is a great strap watch that be casual or dressed up. Gold is softer than steel so I would expect to get some marks being a semi-daily. This wouldn't keep me from wearing it to work though. I'm hoping to get one as well and would plan on wearing it quite often. My current daily is a 5164a.

I love wearing my 5226g multiple days per week. It's a fantastic reference, wonderful dial, lume, and case. Go for it and enjoy !

The 5226g isn’t a dressy watch- works as a daily (I speak as an owner).
