A friend and I often takes turns kicking each other …
In one of its earlier NY auctions it failed to sell!!!!!
The estimate was ~150k.

But as far as more being made, the dial color is perfect


My only consolation, I tell myself the movement isn’t shock protected so who wants it anyway:)

When I first heard the name of the new piece being released was "Cubitus", I was hoping it would be something like the 3670. I think that would have broken the Patek universe in exactly the opposite way the actual release did.

One detail I have not been able to find is the thickness of this watch.
I expect it is about 10.5-10.7mm based on the movement thickness of 5.95mm but nothing definitive on the web. Somewhat thicker than my 5940 at 8.5mm

Cushion case like 5940 and 5950 but not exactly the same. 5950 is a single pusher and the movement is a bit thinner than the 3670.

one of the early Henry Graves commission piece also used the cushion case. It was a minute repeater and significantly smaller at 24mm

I saw someone listed the case height at 10.15mm in another watch forum. It doesn't look too thick from the pictures given it houses a chronograph movement.

Agree with you regarding expectations for a manual wind chrono movement

I suspect that measurement may be a best guess?

5950 27-525 movement is 5.25mm for a total watch thickness of 10.15mm

The 3670 movement is a bit thicker, maybe there is a variation in the case thickness?

"The story of reference 3670A’s creation is a fascinating one. I believe you are correct.
I recall at least 4 separate auctions since it was released. I have been wondering if it were the same piece being resold.

I wont believe there could be so many collectors out of 16 who would want to sell this piece

1 being sold ok but just 2 would be over the top?
