Steel - that's the icon. The PM is another PM.

PM, no doubt, the dials are so much more interesting and not to forget the polished edges of the sub dials

I don't know nor care from a collector's pow, i think one should buy what he loves. And given your option, i would easily pick up a PM model over a SS one. I guess i would only go for a SS version against a PM one only if the SS had a particular dial that i would love and only available on the SS piece.

Whichever appeals most to you. Not what is most hyped.

Easy: the one you really want the most and the one you think it will spend more wrist time, regardless of outer opinions.

SS Panda which is difficult to get at retail, then buy a PM Daytona at retail or even under retail soon. It will be easy to get most PM Daytonas at retail from AD soon

From the AD? I’d take the steel while it’s being offered. The FG PN dial can be picked up at another point with a lot more ease.

I chose to get an OF model as i feel it’s a good middle ground.

As much as I love the SS Daytonas, I wouldn’t say no to a WG with blue dial. :-)

Me personally…PM, I don’t base any watch buying decisions on “collectibility”. Get what YOU will enjoy most.
