My Garmin head unit crapped out a couple of years ago and I switched to the Apple Ultra exclusively for both gravel and MTB. I finally realized I am never going back to having to worry about charging the Garmin, HR strap in addition to the watch (which I used to use only to remain reachable) so I removed the mount from the bike just this week. Now I just need to convince the wife that a Patek is actually a bike computer.

Reminds me of the OG Omega Dark Side of the Moon black ceramic watch from 2013!

I also use the Apple Watch as an ID bracelet with the ID info attached to the band. I use a Wahoo Element on the bike.

I had a RoadID for my old Apple Watch but it doesn’t fit my Ultra now, wish they had a newer version. I have an Element too and love it. Syncs up with Strava so nicely. Wish it would connect to the watch for HR monitoring though.

Cool pics. As a former cyclist, I wouldn't wear my ($$$)watch when riding. Because when you crash (and we all have), remember the old saying:
"Flesh heals, Campagnolo doesn't!" I would add to that "Flesh heals, Campagnolo (and Rolex) don't!" |

Beautiful! You must be outside of Boulder. Speaking of Boulder - I saw Sean Quinn (EF Education and CU grad) took the KOM on f Flagstaff this morning. Even more impressive given that he was lying in a drainage pipe next to Jonas Vingegaard in the Basque Country with a broken sternum a month ago. 24 year olds heal quick! Yet another tedious, tenuous and contrived marketing effort to link watch designs and lifestyle activities.
(The watch itself looks nice, but is too big for my wrist for consideration). |

Cool watch. But not sure who this is for. The fashionista cyclist? I wear a smart watch instead.
