For the avoidance of doubt, the policy I quoted in the website screenshot is non-negotiable for Rolex CPO SKUs.

If anyone has received the original collateral, regardless of its type, then that watch was either:
1) Not actually CPO and you'll know because you didn't get the white seal.
2) AD derivative where they have their own certified servicing center.

Rolex absolutely doesn't ship that old collateral when they do the CPO themselves.

Nothing in the “policy” you sent over forbids original collateral. And multiple authorized dealers with CPO are providing collateral where available. It’s even on their websites.

Is this not CPO?

What could scruples possibly have to do with including original items with a CPO watch?

If you're not the first owner and someone else bought it at that AD, unlikely. If you did, then papers don't matter, you're already their customer and they know that.

Common sense says that if you sell or trade your watch to an AD that participates in the CPO program, and get more money for it, because you included the full kit, of course they would provide that to the eventual buyer. Why would they give you more for the docs , just to trash them? The kit has value. As for the OP’s question, you will get what the AD thinks your watch with docs is worth, but I doubt that helps you get a coveted piece faster. It should help you establish a relationship with the AD, though. Good luck, in any case.

I have struggled for the last forty minutes and failed at trying to resize and post two screenshots from the 1916 Company website (an Authorized Rolex AD selling Certified Pre-Owned Rolex) of a CPO GMT-MASTER II 116710LN, Item #5000109 very clearly listed as including the original box and papers as well as the CPO collateral. Hopefully this information brings a little clarity to the subject at hand.

There is no such thing as too much provenance.
