16520 A-Series with Non-SEL Bracelet Possibly Correct?

As the title says, I am on the hunt and wondering whether an A-Series Daytona with a non-SEL bracelet is possibly correct. I thought A-series only came with SELs, but see some for sale that are non-SELs. I would actually prefer the non-SEL as I find them more comfortable, and with an A-series you get a dial with lume vs the old tritium dials. Just dont want to buy a put together piece if that was never the correct configuration.

To my knowledge, they should be SEL as they started before the A series.

Thanks, I saw that chart before and that’s what made me wonder. I guess an A series with non-SEL has a bracelet that was not original to the watch. Not sure how that would happen. Usually it’s the other way around (later replacement part).

My best advice would be to check the date code on the bottom of the bracelet clasp and see if is the correct date code to match closely with the watch's serial number.

For an "A" serial number Daytona, I would expect a Z, X, or AB clasp code.
