I used my Daytonas to have a date function. Buying them got the AD to sell me GMTs! LOL

Joking aside, it’s a clever method. Thanks for the tip

I can usually depend on myself to know what month it is, but the day? Spotty!

this is sooo weird... i saw Daytona so many times, but did not realize she has no date option... probably was mesmerized by its name... anyway, the funny thing is - ive suddenly lost an interest to this time piece, even though always wanted to have it...

It's easier to hang out with someone who is wearing a DJ, and ask them the date.

This is genius - thank you. I’m looking to pick up a white dial speedmaster and my one doubt about it was the lack of date - The second time zone trick is also really helpful.

(I probably use my watch for the date more often than I use it for the time!)

Im sorry but this just sounds absurd.
Can you do it, sure I guess but its not practical to try to stop on the exact second mark you want and trying to count them to figure out the date is just silly.
Id much rather use it as a GMT starting the chrono at 12 in your second timezone or even using the bezel on a Sub to mark 12 in your second timezone.
But using the the chrono hand to calculate the date is just too silly for me.

If you can remember to do that every day, you might as well just remember what date it is.

I have more difficulty remembering the day of the week than the date
