Huge congrats. I love the tool-centric focus, look, and feel of the Explorer. I owned the Exp 39 Mk1, too. Kept it for 8 years before moving it to a new owner. I wouldn't mind scoring an Exp 40. Hope you thoroughly enjoy your new watch!

The photo seems to show that it lies flat on your wrist. For me, the larger the better as long as it fits. My eyes are getting old. Congrats!
