Too much work for too little reward! I'll keep mine.

$300 USD? I don't think so. Check the sold section on eBay; I'm sure they're selling in the $150 range.

No, not for me. As others have said, I like to keep my watches full set.

I keep mine. Rolex boxes aren’t much to talk about, coolest ones I’ve had were Panerai and the Omega “suitcase” that Speedmasters used to come in.

I have gifted all my boxes but one, which I converted to a small humidor (16520).
You cannot do anything with the new ones. They are just stupid bulky and cheap material, not real leather.

Simple answer: No. I like my watches complete, Full Set. Selling a box to make a small amount of cash is not worth it IMO.

No I wouldn't sell, even though Rolex Boxes are underwhelming. Mine stay stacked on the top shelf of a cupboard.

No. It’s from the only one I bought new, and I like having the full set.

I’ve purchased a couple of watches without boxes and papers, so the absence of a box doesn’t bother me either.

Nope; I have a dedicated closet shelf for my watch boxes.

I'd sell mine if it was worth it. I almost definitely won't end up selling any of my Rolex watches, and all they do is take up space in a rubbermaid container (and one day will probably be eaten/pooped in by a mouse).

That said, the effort to ship an empty box to someone plus just not having the boxes is worth more to me than what they sell for.

I know several people who keep their warranty card, tags and watch, and sell their boxes. The box doesn’t bring the same value I guess, but I’m in the keep it all camp. Complete set and I’ve only ever sold one Rolex in my collection, a 2015 yacht master that I never wore. It was a boring plain watch. I took the cash and invested it in Microsoft. It’s worth a lot more now that it was back then! 😂

Definitely wouldn't sell mine because I want a complete set, but I wish they were worth selling to be honest! Omega's boxes are 10x the quality of a Rolex box.

I would not sell a box purely for the concern it could end up housing a fake, stolen or Frankenstein watch.

It seems many of the flippers that get watches from overseas need boxes because the watches are brought in to the country on someone's wrist or in a suitcase as a "personal" watch, then flipped. Also don't want to contribute to them.

I would never sell mine. But, it does annoy me enough NOT having one for my Explorer that I have considered purchasing one.

I think the $150 cost adds more value than that to the package if I ever sold the watch. But, I’ll probably never do either lol.

I HATE how big boxes are for watches. I know it's part of the LuXuRy EXPerIenCe

but for all of my permanent watches, I sell the box lol

I have several nice Rolex boxes. Lately, I've given some thought to putting them on display as Exhibition Rolex Boxes.
