Cartier Tank Solarbeat Serviceability?

Bought a new solarbeat from a second-hand dealer. Absolutely love the watch. One concern I have is around the long-term serviceability of the watch. Does anyone know if Cartier made any announcements about long-term serviceability on this watch? Will they still produce batteries/capacitors years down the line? Any insights would be great. Thanks all.

The rumor was the movements were made in China by third party suppliers. So as long as they're still around, Cartier can probably source replacements.

The movements were made a French firm. The battery is rated to last 16 years. I bought mine new shortly after Cartier released them. I’ve not had any problems or complaints. Still with the original strap reputed to be 40% from apples? Cartier is the third largest manufacturer of watches after Rolex and Omega. They have no need to buy cheap Chinese junk. See if the previous owner listed the watch with Cartier service warranty. Do this by going to Cartier web site for service. It will lead you through the warranty process, if it’s already registered for service check the expiration date. If it hasn’t been registered, then do it for you and get eight year service warranty.
