Incoming 15212NB & 26231OR

Finally got one from the London boutique! It is supposed to be the last one in the UK as it is most likely discontinued.

At the same time, got offered and took a 26231OR for the wife. They also threw in 2 extra replacement watch bands in light grey and dark grey on top of the light blue and beige ones that it comes with.

Beautiful duo
Given the strong and unique AP aesthetic, I always enjoy seeing the women’s watches (especially chronos) like this one.
Congrats to you both.

Congrats! Why would they discontinue it? People keep saying that. Seems more likely they will expand the movement into other metals.

Thanks! Not sure either, but that's what the folks at AP boutique said. My guess is they will redesign it and get rid of the adventurine like they did with the Code QP to put the design more in line with the rest.

Thanks. it was the boutique which is going to close next month. They're moving the Sloane Street boutique to APH for a few months and then APH will move to a new building next year closer to Savile Row. Given how construction projects in the UK face numerous delays, they'll probably be at the Bond St AP House for a while longer.

I don't believe it is being discontinued, maybe in that metal, however my SA said a RG version is coming this year

There is an RG version coming with a black aventurine dial. Not sure if the current WG version will get discontinued or not though.

Congrats OP!

Congrats OP!

Few months back, when I picked up my Starwheel, SA told me that the WG is discontinued and replaced with the RG. However, when I picked up the 15407ST recently, I have been informed that WG will now remain and to be sold alongside the RG as too many clients wanted the WG. Wise move.

That would be fantastic news. I have quite a few pieces in RG, so I always wanted the Starwheel in WG. I was getting ready to ask for it after my next piece, so really hope the WG is still around!
