Midnight in Paris

For all Woody Allen fans..........this one's a good one!
I haven't been too keen on his films in a while.......his work in the 1960's & 1970's were my favorites.....the rest, ho-hum......
This had that that classic vibe, old school....Owen Wilson's kinda like a young Woody Allen!
I dug it, it made me laugh, think, chuckle, laugh some more.......a funny &
charming film, I give it
If you dig Paris, the vibe of Paris in the 1920's, literature & art, you'll dig it.

Really looking forward for this. Allen is probably the greatest living American film director. He has created movies in an incredible speed over the years, and sure not all of his movies were great but enough to make him a living legend: Manhattan, Annie Hall, Hannah and Her Sisters, Deconstructing Harry, Interiors, Take the Money and Run, Match Point, Crimes and Misdemeanors to name a few.

I highly recommend the stuff he has written as well, very funny stuff

Glad to hear it. Loved the classic Woody films and have rewatched them many times. Actually, I really liked one more recent Allen offering, Vicky Cristina Barcelona.

Is that the one where Bruni appears? Apparently, they had to shoot the 2 second scene I don't know how many times, she just could not do it.

Last summer in Paris, Woody Allen came to a restaurant where we were having dinner next to where we used to live and sat at the next table with his wife and Charlotte Rampling.

Absolutely agree! Woody best movie in 20 years. Head and shoulder above Vicky Barcelona (IMO). Characters are great, well acted and well written. I have never thought that much of Owen Wilson, but he does a fine job here. For the long time Allen fans who rely on his old comedies or Crimes and Misdemeanors, this one is that good.
