Vacheron Overseas Chronograph Gen2 strap/ bracelet

Has anyone been able to fit a gen3 strap or bracelet with the interchangeable system on a gen2?

Also, silly question, but I am having some trouble getting the fixed pin on the clasp inside the strap hole as it is quite large (much larger than the one in the image below). Is there a secret to this?

Thanks!

Bumping this. I guess it's not possible, but on a related note I am interested in where people have sourced alternative straps if any. I know I can get direct from Vacheron as the Deep Stream models have rubber for example but any other sources of Gen 2 straps that people have tried?

The boutiques have rubber and alligator

Deep stream and gold versions offered them. They have white, brown, blue , grey , black. Some aftermarket manufacturers also offer them and the custom shops like Rousseau can make them.
