Anyone collect journals?

I like em! I have about 40 in my collection, with the Roterfaden being my favorite. I also enjoy the more modular Traveler journals and Molesline (I know, I know, but I have loved them for too many years to discard them for their many faults. Kinda like some people I know).

I must make an honorable mention of any of the Tomoe River Paper journals; however, the drying time with 99% of the inks I use makes things difficult, at least for my patience levels.

William Hannah has some gorgeous leather journal systems that I enjoy very much.

Also, my favorite leather covers are the Kip Leather from Japan. Superb in every way, and they patina so nicely over time. Gfeller leather makes some incredible covers! I can't recommend them enough.

So, what have been your favorites so far?

I have tried the Moleskine, but experienced the same issues of bleeding that us fountain pen users complain of.

So far, Leuchtrumm has the best paper and I have not dared to venture far from this.

For reference, I use a Montblanc 146 and Dupont Orpheo both throwing a wet, consistent line.

My favorite journal covers are the Roterfadden and the Gfeller. I like the LEUCHTTURM1917 as well as any.
