Incoming - Big Triangle content

After several years of looking for the right piece, it’s finally in the collection! One of the most beautiful diver watch designs in history, imho. With the original 1039 flat link and extract from Omega to boot. Thank you to W. and P. for the amazing photography as well. Some wrist shots of mine included, for good measure.

Sharing the joy

Wow! What a great find! The wait was definitely worth it and while looking for the right vintage piece, patience is key. Looking forward to seeing more pictures of this, enjoy in good health!

You're absolutely right, Rommel. In vintage more than any other area of the hobby, knowing exactly what you want and what to look for are key elements in building a collection. I'm very fortunate to have found this piece and I'm enjoying it immensely.

Beautiful watch.

I’m dumbfounded that Omega hasn’t produced a faithful re-issue (as they’ve done with the Speedmaster).

Nice divers thanks for sharing. Great find and I'm hoping on day this gets a proper revival from the brand. Congratulations.

Thanks, gents. I too never quite understood why this reference was never reissued, so iconic is the design. Perhaps it’s still in the works.

Absolutely! Always puzzled me as they’ve re-issued just about everything else! It is a truly iconic piece and this is a fantastic example.
