I purchased a New Daytona from a grey dealer still had factory stickers.
I’ve had the watch since January it has kept impeccable time until yesterday. It is currently adding 7 seconds a minute. Bob’s watches is offering to look at I’d prefer to through Rolex. Is it possible to have warranty work done through Rolex without a full factory service? If Bobs opens up the watch does this void the warranty? Thank you in advance for your answers and advice. It may just need de-magnetising (takes less than 2 mins) or may need a full strip down. Until they look at the watch they wont know whats wanted. Giving the watch to a NON-APPROVED watch repair company or person does void the warranty. Don’t do it !!! You are far better off first testing for magnetism … Any watchmaker or Rolex AD will do that in a few seconds. If you have a compass you can do it yourself. De-magnetising … Its a DIY job if you want and your warranty will be fine. You do NOT open the watch for that. Its a simple process and the tool needed costs a very few dollars..
