Too good to be true? Possible scam?
I think I posted this in the wrong forum this morning. This forum seems like the more appropriate place for this...
I'm interested in purchasing an Omega Speedmaster and have come across the following listing... *Edit...I'm a new member, so I can't post links yet. The member name is "Burgman" and he's got two FS listings that you'll see...one for a Speedmaster and another for a Rolex. Since I've not purchased a watch M2M before, I'm looking to get more comfortable with the process. So I've tried to do some due diligence on my own. First of all, it appears to be a great deal, which always gets my antennae up. Doing some clicking on the seller's member name here, I notice that he's been a member since 2018 and has 76 posts. But when I look at the posts, they basically are a bunch of "tag along" posts made very recently...like maybe 20 a day along the lines of "wow" or "congrats" or "looks good to me!" Is this a case of a deal being too good to be true??? |
