Legit Check please! 116610LV Hulk
Hi all,
Please help legit check this Rolex Submariner 116610LV (HULK)-- serial code brings up 2010-2020 production year. Given the dial font, I'm inclined to believe it is a 2016 and later model. Dial looks dark in photos due to lighting. Serial slightly blocked out for security purposes. Thanks! Last edited by dhk2131; 13 May 2024 at 08:43 AM.. Reason: photos |

I thought that dial was black until I took a closer look!

Thanks everyone so far! It's unfortunately "naked"- purchased on TheRealReal which I know is a hit or miss, but it seems that when it comes to watches they have some sort of decent screening "experts"
My concern is if it's a "frankenstein" watch or a super clone that can be hard to tell if genuine without looking at the inside... but purchased with the intent to wear and not resell so I was OK with the price and fact that there is no box/paper. Have not yet received in mail but once received will upload more pics! Hopefully it comes with some collateral that wasn't listed |

Thanks! My concern is that it may be a "frankenstein" watch or superclone that would be difficult to know if original / authentic hulk without opening up the watch, but I suppose that can be said about any and every watch not purchased from an AD
I actually purchased this "naked" with no advertised box or papers from the RealReal which i know many would not recommend! But i bought to wear and not resell, and it was a price i was OK with so i pulled the trigger. It seems their watch/jewelry inspection is somewhat rigorous-- not sure if anyone purchased a watch on there that turned out to be fake? Have not yet received but will upload more pics when it comes! Hopefully it has some collateral with it. Would appreciate any other input! |

You're posting this because you have reservations. If TRFers sign off on these photos, are you relieved of your insecurities? What assurance do you have that the watch in the photos is what shows up in FedEx if you already have doubts to begin with?

Totally valid point! I just wanted some input. The watch is returnable so I am waiting to receive and inspect, just wanted some insight from others on what to look out for |

You need to look at the movement also. You just can’t validate a watch based on pictures only. Go to a RSC and ask for a service quote. See what they quote you.

When you get it weigh it. Should come in around 160 g if all links present.
Here is a picture of my Hulk which is absolutely the real thing. Taking a scan or picture of it will tend to make the dial look dark. What does your clasp look like? Here is mine. Mine is of the "frosty" variety but there are genuine Hulks with non frosty clasp too. Mine is 2015 model year. |

Thanks all so far!
Will upload more pics once received. Really wanted the hulk so would be happy to keep and wear as long as authentic even if no box/papers/etc! Fingers crossed |
