Woah! That’s a great collection of modern Tudors!

That gold BB looks gorgeous! How do you like it?
Mind taking some individual pictures of it? I’ve never seen it in person!

That is one heck of a collection! How do you like the gold and silver BB58's? Any patina so far?

I really don't plan on wearing them...Maybe a day or two per year. If they get any more wear than that, I will buy a second one to wear and keep the other "mint".

You will note that I have two of one model. That is because I found myself wearing that particular watch a lot, so I bought a second one to wear.

I'm not trying to be a smart ass or anything here but I don't understand the concept of buying two of the same watch, one to wear and the other to keep in a safe??? This isn't Paul Newman's Daytona ... these are just Tudors. I don't see the value shooting up in the future or anything. What's your angle here?

The sales associated suggested getting a leather strap for the one I owned. The Tudor leather strap was ~$700. With the watch being $3,000 out the door, I decided to pay $2,300 more so I don't have to change straps.

As for having "mint" models. That's what I do with all of my watches. I buy models because I like them. I like to have mint or very close to mint ones in my collection. As I mentioned, if I wear them much, I buy a second one. I only have one duplicate Tudor, but will probably get a second silver one to wear.

I know it doesn't make much sense, but I have the $$$ and it is what I do.

I fear I have become that compulsive, eccentric guy.

If I wear a woman, I would have a house full of cats. Since I am a guy, I have a house/garage full of cars, guns and watches. :) :)

Ha! Fair enough. As a fellow gun enthusiast I can relate. It's not like I take them out to the range every week. Some haven't been fired in years.

Dont you mean the Tudor Bracelet is $700? I thought the leather and nato straps were around $150 and the clasp maybe another $100. Unless they really have gone up recently..

Anyway hey I understand and probably agree with your strategy, 10 years ago you buy a bunch of Rolexes and keep them NOS stickered youd be doing pretty well, so whose to question Tudor cant have a similar (albeit smaller) benefit, especially if you like them. Plus getting the Tudors has obviously helped you expand your Rolex collection too, without buying stuff like Panerai, Cartier, Omega etc with more depreciation built in.0

Also I support your decision of getting a second silver. One to wear and enjoy the tarnishing, the other to keep sealed. In years to come after its discontinued, the sealed NOS one may be a rare condition item since everyone thinks Tudors are for beating around, including myself right now.

Here are my Tudors, have room for another, love the Uncle Seiko on the GMT!

Out of the Tudors? That is a tough question.

So far, I find myself wearing the black/brown model with strap in the upper right hand. It is the perfect watch when I am wearing flannel/boots.

The gold/silver are for dress, but I have Rolexes for that.

My most recent purchase is the Black Ceramic model. It is an awesome watch. It has a crystal back...and Tudor even black coated the movement! When Tudor comes out with a 100% black out model (think hour markers black instead of white), I am a buyer!

When you open the box, the two starting on the left on the top row are my next two I’m eyeing!
