Royal Oak 41mm - is it too big for my wrist?

Seriously considering pulling the trigger on a 41MM RO 15500ST, but unsure if the watch is the proper fit for my wrist size.

I've included some photos of me trying on the 41MM as well as a pic of the 37 RO (Rose Gold) on my wrist. I've also included a DateJust 36mm for an additional comparison point. What do y'all think about the 41MM?

37mm looks right for you.

41mm looks big for you, and even for itself. Too much empty dial IMO.

Depends entirely on personal presence and what you’re comfortable with. To me, the 41mm looks fine on you and the 37mm looks too small. The 15500 does wear a bit larger though due to the shorter hour markers, which make the dial look a bit emptier. Try on a 15400 or a 15510 if possible - overall size is the same, but they will visually feel different due to the dial configurations.

At the end of the day, go with what feels right to you!

Based on the photos (less zoomed-in would likely be more helpful to evaluate fit/size), the 41mm looks too big and the 37 looks like a good fit. It's hard to do but sometimes what I do when unsure about sizes between anything (e.g., shoes, pants, etc.), I intentionally do not look at the size until AFTER trying things on, so that the size / number doesn't influence me ahead of time. Of course, not so easy to do with APs, as a practical matter. Point is, the #s don't mean much; how it looks and feels on your wrist definitely matters.

both 37 and 41mm should be fine.

all your shots are top down and close which make the watch look larger than your wrist. take the photo from further away, or look at yourself in a mirror and you'll see the more true size of how the watch wears

Agree with the general sentiment that both are fine. I have a wrist size where both the 37mm and 41mm are suitable also, it's not that uncommon. Also agree the 41mm looks pretty beat up in those photos, hope you get a good price.

Thanks for all the replies. I’m going to look to schedule an appointment at AP House to check out the 15510 and get their thoughts on sizing. Also agree that AP isn’t in the best condition - it was also horribly priced at $47k.

I think the 41 works and is a cool watch. It just depends on the look you are going for and your comfort level with a watch that size for your wrist.

Shouldn’t be too difficult. If you give them a call they should be able to set something up. AP House NY always has a good selection of pieces to try on, including 15510’s
