Incoming Incomings Are Incredible! :)
Looking at TRF General board, it makes me smile seeing the many incoming timepieces.
GONE are all the flippers. Thanks Rolex _n4.jpg

I’ve noticed a real up lift in new watches, Pepsi too .. supposedly as rare as catching a live haggis …

Got 2 offers to bundle this week.
One was a blk ss daytona bundled with a 28mm datejust 2 tone (mop with diamond dial and bezel - over 20k with tax). The other was a nautilus 5712 with a ladies quartz "24." This bundle would've ended up over 100k. Both were passed up by friends and then offered to me. I also passed. |

It is truly sad to see such aggressive business tactics from a watch dealer. California has various laws, perhaps check to see what the State may say about forced bundling. OVERALL, we KNOW things are getting back to historic norms. It is deeply saddening to hear about possible illegal forced bundling by a current authorized dealer. They might lose their AD status due to such bundling, be very cautious! Quote:

It was a 5712G. If it were a steel on bracelet I would have pulled the trigger. The total was 100k plus a 5k thank you.

Good spot - I nearly took a screen shot of exactly the same yesterday. Then remembered I gave up long ago on trying to upload a photo!
It is a very welcome sight. |

It’s cool to see. Surprising how many GMTs particularly are getting into people’s hands that seem genuinely appreciative of them.

The pendulum is definitely swinging in favor of collectors as the calls are coming in from the ADs.

Just to add - I had a 1990 Day-Date 18238 (black/diamond baguette dial)delivered to me a few days ago - I didn't even make a post about it.
So, from the time I bought my first Rolex in 2021 I am now at 9 in my house. This is a milestone for me as I will now have three to give to each of my kids. PDG |
