An interesting choice….which would you?
Thought this would be an interesting poll in the Patek forum.
Which one would you choose? 5980R or 126506 baguette dial….. |

Tough choice. Patek for me if the competitor is the new Platona, the other way around if it’s the uniform color baguette dial Platona.

Same. The old uniform color baguette dial Platona is the only one I like. Those with brown subdials are not for me. Hence voted 5980R although I can't see myself ever own a Nautilus w/o bracelet.

Don’t love straps. Rolex for me. Also prefer platinum vs rose gold.

Voted for the Daytona - Genta's watches need their bracelets IMHO

i have a platinum daytona baguette dial previous version and the 5980R. while i feel that the daytona is the more beautiful watch i wear the 5980R (on a rubberb strap) much more often. the weight of the daytona makes me feel uncomfortable after a few hours.

That Daytona. Nautilus needs bracelet. Although I’m curious to see those new Patek straps they’re doing

As a few others have said, Nautilus needs a bracelet. 5980/1R > 126505 > 5980R.

Very tough choice.
But the Daytona in this config is very special. The nautilus has to be on bracelet for me, in that respect a RG nautilus on bracelet would always win. |

Daytona on this one. Nautilus chrono isn't my fav bc the pushers ruin the case shape IMO.
