My first Rolex and I love history lessons
So I picked up my first Rolex. It's a 1980s lady date 31mm, 18YG, president band. Box and goodies but no SN paper.
It has a red box, which I love. I understand those were discontinued in 2005/2006. What else can yall tell me about my watch? It has a sapphire crystal so it's not early 80s I don't think. I'm not sure the exact year they swapped from acrylic to sapphire. What movement is in it? Any other interesting trivia/facts? I'd love to hear! |
