And why??
Apart from the next date apearing just slightly in the date aparture, the watch looks okay to me. Ref. 6694, manual wind. "T SWISS T" on dial, right endpieces to the 78350 bracelet. Plexi crystal right for the period (2 mio series, about 1969/70). Welcome to TRF!

I noticed the date wheel not looking to straight, but also the crown at the 12 o clock does not look to clever, but is that the camera angle?

Since there is uncertainty over the genuineness of the watch we'll continue over at the Watchout! section.

IMHO The guy has a phenomenal amount of positive feedback to be screwing around selling a fake. He seems genuine. The picture does look odd but I believe it is probably genuine. I looked up all of his other listings as well and he seems to sell a lot of Rolex watches of the vintage variety.
I think it is the real McCoy again, IMHO. Terry Newton |

Thanks for all the replies. Do you think the dial has been replaced or redone? It looks awful new to be from that time period. Also the band does not look correct either. Any ideas?
Sorry for the double post.... I am new! |

He is claiming that the dial is; "Factory Original". I also believe he is implying that the entire watch is original. It does look in excellent shape, the price seems good, and it probably has been serviced recently.
A caution though. In reading through his feedback; there are about 482 posts, there have been two - three seizures from customs and a few others that had to pay duty fees of 100 - 300 dollars. He is in Singapore. This is a risk that you will take also in buying from him. That may seem like low odds in relation to all of the watches he sells but you should be at least informed of this observation. Good-Luck. Terry Newton |

I suggest asking the seller if the pictures shown in ebay are from the item to be sold and ask for more pictures.
Also, check with the seller if the watch is in working condition. From all the pics shown, I don't feel that it's running? |

Why do you feel the watch is not running based on the pictures?

From all the pics shown, the hour+minute hands have not moved. I'd ask for pictures showing the hands are running.

Since I live in the US, I'd get nervous sending thousands to Singapore. Likewise, if I lived in Singapore, I'd be nervous sending thousands of dollars to the US.

that dial is most certainly redone at best,at worst an out and out copy.the movement is more than likely a frankenwatch nightmare,i.e. the datewheel isnt even aligned,I could go on but I will leave it at that.
