Bezel change om platinum DD40 228206

Do you think it is possible to change the smooth bezel on a 228206 to a fluted bezel found on the 228236?.
Will the new bezel for the order ref?

Most likely the case is the same, so yes, it would probably fit, but getting the bezel would be hard and expensive and you'd also ruin the value of the watch by fitting a different bezel (unless you swap it back). Just sell the 228206 and buy the 228236.

Well, depends on whats most cost efficient. Buying the smooth bezel and getting it fitted (& keeping the old) vs. trading in the 228206 for the 228236. There is a cost associated with both

.

You won't be able to order a 228236 bezel for a 228206, Rolex won't accept that as the watches ref# are not the same .

--> frankenwatch in perspective.

I don't think Rolex will go for it.

I do not think this will happen...though, I know someone who had a custom diamond bezel made in platinum that resembles the diamond bezel you can spec from Rolex at a much less cost.

I would not think Rolex will do this. Don't go aftermarket and shop and see what a watch trade for the model would cost you. Cool watch.
