Would you trade?

A 5070p for a 5740?

Yes, never really liked the 5070p outside of its value.

Tough one - not sure tbh, but it’s not a crazy idea. What’s the deal?

If you can own both, why would you want to trade one for the other?

5070P has been discontinued 10 years ago, so you can only purchase it pre-owned. 5740/1G is a current production model, so I would recommend getting it from an AD, rather than paying a premium to get it on the secondary market. If you have no relationship with an AD, that would be a different story.

Yes because I don't really like the 5070 and dig the 5740. Long term its prob a terrible move though. Terrible.

Yep I would do it in a minute - the 5740 is a piece I would enjoy wearing- the 5070 not so much. BTW do you have a player who will trade ? Straight across?

Yes - 5070 is far from my favourite chrono whereas the 5740 is my favourite sports perpetual.
