Hulk Owners - Would you part with it? If you have why and how do you feel?

My hulk was one of my first purchases, I thought it would be a forever watch however I have not worn it in a year. I have also been moving toward a different direction in collecting and am now looking at it trying to figure out if I should sell it. For those of you who have sold it to move onto bigger pieces, how do you feel now?

I doubt I wear mine more than once every half of a year, and it would need to be pried off my dead wrist before it leaves my collection. I love the look of it, and am happy every time I put it on.

That being said, this is a personal choice for you. If you don't wear it and feel it's there collecting dust when you could put the money towards another watch, or other purpose, then ditch it. Remember though, being a discontinued piece with no current replacement (I don't consider the 126610LV a replacement due to black dial), there's no getting back your watch brand new.

I had one, really enjoyed it, but always preferred my standard Sub. When I stopped wearing it, I got rid of it. It's just a thing and didn't really deserve a lot of sentimentality.

I don’t think so. I love the green dial. The only way I’d ever part with it is if they release the same dial in the sub again …

I have 2 of them, 2010 (I wear all the time) when it first came out and another one unworn from 2019. To my surprise during that time they were considered hard to obtain and for that reason I am holding both.

Sold the hulk 3 times and brought it back 4 times! The one I have now will never leave as it’s my son’s birth year watch. Previous times sold were to trade up to ‘better’ pieces

No.
Now the 11 series subs are discontinued I’m not sure we will see that case and bracelet proportion combo again for a while. Plus the green dial is glorious.

It’s too unique to go. Had it since 2013 at a great price of 12% off RRP.

I have it and love it so much. I am very good at buying but not good at selling ( too much of hassle), so I will keep it forever.

Selling when needed is easy with trusted grey dealers.

I bought my Hulk new at a discount *GASP* back in 2013 for my 30th birthday. The only way I would part with it is if someone offered me a straight trade for a similar condition Smurf.

The HULK is a fantastic watch. You might consider keeping it until you find something you truly want that makes selling it worthwhile.

The hulk was one of my first too, and whilst I haven't worn it in a while, I recently put it on and was just in awe of that green dial. I love it and don't think I could part with it. It is quite a special piece in my opinion. All the best in your decision.

I had the chance to buy one from a local AD back in 2016. I didn't like it so I passed. However, I'd be interested if Rolex would reissue it in the redesigned 41mm case with a deeper green dial and bezel.

My Hulk was the only watch I’ve ever sold that I regret getting rid of. I will find another.

Bought one from AD then like an idiot part exchanged it for a Bluesy. That was six years ago. Bit the bullet and bought another Hulk via grey market last year. Love the watch despite the outlay.

Hulk is the one I will never sell. In fact, I sold it once in late 2017 or 2018, missed it incredibly and bought again in 2019. Lesson learned and still glad to have it in rotation.

Of course I do but I'm always careful when I'm wearing it. I have a big collection and I take care of all my watches as I like them to be in prestine condition.

I have never felt the “need” to get a watch as I did with the 116610LV way back in 2010/2011…. I made it happen and now could never part with it.
